In 2007 Apex were invited to develop a concept for an exotic car hire company that would see the development of a multifunctional site capable of providing a wide array of driving experiences in a controlled and safe environment As part of this work, Apex developed the schemes shown here that allow customers to gain experience handling high performance vehicles, as well as offering other less conventional driving experiences such as high speed off roading and karting. The site revolves around a core attraction, the 1.6 km (1 mile) handling circuit that forms part of a wider driver experience offering a dynamics area, skid pan, off road/ rallycross circuit, kart circuit and drag strip.

Complimentary to the driver theme park concept are also hospitality and retail options designed to cater for guests when not on track and also to provide car sales opportunities for the Client's key supply partners. It was essential that the facilities be accessible and targeted primarily at both leisure and corporate use, resulting in high patron turnover to yield a commercially sustainable business venture.
